A quick review of my Introduction Video,
I think all in all this came out as a great, funny little introduction video. I felt the humour came off quite nicely in the end and even though this is just a rough cut all of it seemed to garner laughs from whoever ended up seeing it. In retrospect some of the segments quite didnt come off as I wanted them to such as the subtle costume changes inbetween each segment just came off as bad continuity. This said I think that the shots came off great and the light work by the other apprentices really came together in the end especially getting the reflections down in the windowed room when I was sitting down, which took us quite some time. Given more time I would have had a more coherent video and better responses as although most of it was funny I dont feel I really got across what I what I wanted to say about myself so a better script would have definatly helped this be a little more understandable. The final scene was shot quite quickly and for lack of a better idea I wanted to do the classic 80's fist pump which I have to say is my favourite part of the video. It definatly was a shame that I ran out of time to edit the footage I had gathered and would have liked to have got more done, there was plans of classic montage music on the pictures part which at the moment just looks like I accidentally threw some pictures of myself on facebook into the video to pad for time (which I can assure you I did not) as well as some dramatic music in the background to make me sound more....intellectual? I think although not finished that its good points definatly outwiegh the bad as its funny, quick and does sum up a bit about my sense of humour and some of the influences from some of my favourite films and given the time frame I had for this shoot (literally a few hours) I think that I came out with a nice introduction to this course.

ROBERT
You may be so bold...I enjoy the works of Gene wilder the best film Ive seen him in was young Frankenstein I feel this was a classic film with classic jokes. I enjoy the works of Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Edgar Wright. Also the works of Christopher Nolan who has a grandiose nature no-one else can touch these days.
